  • ACTI is best described as the pioneer of a new EDM crossover between electro-house and hard dance. You can better listen to his original and eclectic music on his own label called 'Subground'. ACTI is considered the godfather of the QULT sound, a new movement that's taking over the Amsterdam dance scene. After more than 10 years of experience in the studio and on stage behind several projects like Activator and collaborations like Outwork, ACTI has definitely raised the bar at the moment and his own innovative sound is regularly played by the most highly acclaimed DJ's in the world.
    
    Besides being Activator, ACTI is an innovator; being so musically versatile. We don't have to explain the concept of Q-BASE to ACTI, since he has joined us at Airport Weeze since the very beginning in 2004. This year, we've entrusted the master of subground sounds with the creation of the QULT O.S.T.
    
    In 2012 he showed his own style at Defqon1 main stage and he mixed the official compilation.
    Since that time he has been part of the Tomorrowland, Mysteryland and Q-Base's line up.
    In 2013 he mixed the official Q-Base compilation and reached 3 times the top 20 electro-house chart on Beatport with some dance floor killers like “Waykee” (15), “Fusion”(with Delayers)(2) and “Zathan”(on Big&Dirty Record)(5).
    
    In 2014 he remixed Bart Claessen (ex Barthezz) - Chimaera and he reached a few good positions on Beatport again with "Peacock" (on Big & Dirty Recordings) (27), "Slylow"(36) and "Ow" (with Moby on Doorn Record) (16).
    Every 2 months he has his residency at Qult in Amsterdam, a music laboratory and homebase of Subground.
    ACTI has definitely raised the bar at the moment and his own innovative sound is getting regularly played by the most highly acclaimed djs in the world.
    
    Subground Records started this 2015 with this Huge and long awaited Release from the masterpiece ACTI!
